Biography:
Dave represents corporate clients in products and premises liability, insurance coverage, and antitrust litigation. He also advises clients on risk management issues, including maintenance of insurance coverage programs and handling of insurance claims. David is AV rated, a past-President of the Milwaukee Bar Association and the Wisconsin Hispanic Lawyers Association, and an active member of the American Bar Association and Defense Research Institute.

- New Albany Tractor, Inc. v. Louisville Tractor, Inc., 650 F.3d 1046 (6th Cir. 2011). Defended Wisconsin manufacturer in antitrust litigation.
- Wallaby Grip Ltd. v. QBE Ins. (Australia) Ltd., [2010] HCA 9. Retained as consultant on U.S. insurance law in proceedings before High Court of Australia.
- Johnston v. NEI Int’l Combustion Ltd., [2007] UKHL 39; Rothwell v. Chemical & Insulating Co Ltd, [2006] EWCA Civ 27. Retained as consultant on U.S. asbestos law in test litigation challenging liability for asbestos-related injuries.
- United States v. Ajinomoto Co., Inc., Crim. No. 96 CR-520 (N.D. Ill.). Defended Japanese executive indicted as an alleged participant in a worldwide conspiracy to fix lysine prices. Kurt Eichenwald’s The Informant [A True Story] chronicles the prosecution of the conspiracy.
